Vintage "Ship's Time" Brass Porthole Quartz Clock 12"Weight 10 Lbs
I want to start out by stating I am no expert on Portholes. I found this at a nice estate. I believe that this was hand made from a Porthole. The porthole is oxidized and I decided to keep it this way. I like patina. The clock weighs about 10 pounds. I cannot see any makers marks on the porthole. There may be markings on the bottom where it is mounted to the wood. The clock is Quartz and marked AITG. I put a battery in it and it does run. Please note there is a switch that must be move on the back to get the clock to run. I almost missed it.
