The booklet is undated, but it is probably from the early 20th century, this lovely Yeast Foam Recipes from the Northwestern Yeast Co. Chicago, Illinois served as both an advertisement and recipe booklet for the company. The Northwestern Yeast Company was the market leader for yeast around World War I. The original company at Northwestern Yeast’s location was the George A. Weiss Malting and Elevator Company, which started operations in 1884.This great little booklet is in fair condition with rubbing and small tears along edges. Taped across the top of the booklet to hold it together. Some staining on outside and some pages - does not obscure text. The front picture is vibrant and lovely. The recipes include the Parker House roll recipe and bread making instructions on how to make bread without potatoes. About 3 1/8 by 6 inches with 13 pages.
