    Description

This is an old mid-century sterling silver bolo tie from the Tommy Singer workshop.
It was made by Tommy Singer's brother, William Singer.
The Singer clan popularized the "crushed stone" motif...as is this example of crushed turquoise and coral.
The bolo slide depicts a peyote bird.  It measures 2.75 inches in length.
The back features a "Bennett C-31" fastener suggesting a 1957-1967 time of creation.  It is signed with William's Singer's mark "SD."  There are 2 other "chop" marks indicating that it was fabricated in the Tommy Singer workshop.
The 2 sterlings silver tips measure 2.25 inches in length.  They have a heavy patina.  The bolo slide has been polished.
Condition is overall quite qood for a vintage bolo tie.  Minor surface scratches on the silver components.  All of the crushed stone inlays are present.
The black braided leather cord is a newer addition and is in good useable shape.
Please take a close and careful look the pictures I have posted.  They give a good protrayal of the quality and condition of this Singer clan original.
