Vintage Mechanical Waterbury Brass Ship’s Clock Missippi Tug Boat Keyless Wind
Nice old clock.
The collector we got this from had made nice wooden placques to hang his extansive collection of Chelsea clocks and ships gauges in his office. He had also attached a label on back says “Came off Missippi Tug Boat”
This clock is unusual as it has no keywind hole, it winds by turning the ships wheel clockwise. To set the time, you hold the set lever (photo 5) while turning the ship wheel to adjust the time.
While this clock runs on my desk as we took the listing photos, please presume that this clock will need repaired or cleaned and oiled.
