To call this dish a baby food warmer it not actually correct.  The object of filling the base of the heavy porcelain dish with hot water and plugging it closed with a cork, was to keep the baby's food warm as it was eaten.
This antique baby food dish is at least 80+ years old.
Remarkably it is still in pretty good condition.
It has been dumped on the floor, probably from the tray of the baby's high chair.
There is one obvious crack, which has not gone anywhere.
There are several crack lines.
The cork that kept the hot water, which kept the baby's food hot, is missing, but can be replaced.
Dish measures - 7-1/2" from edge to edge of handles.
It is 5-1/2" inside diameter x 2" deep
Has three compartments.
Made of heavy porcelain.
Color is light pink
Maker and model are found on the bottom of this unique dish constructed to help a young child to learn to eat.
