VINTAGE 1940s ? WOOD GENERAL MILLS PRODUCTS CONTROL RECIPE CARD BOX

Offered here is a vintage wooden box. The top is hinged, on the back side. A decal on the top, and front of the box both read: "GENERAL MILLS PRODUCTS CONTROL SERVICE BOX". There is a paper label inside the lid. I think the box originally contained recipes and cooking suggestions. It is EMPTY, but otherwise in VERY GOOD condition. There is a little wear to the decals, but for the most part, this box is very nice, inside & out. When closed, it measures 6 & 3/4 inches long, it is 5 & 3/4 inches tall, and 6 inches deep. It displays very nicely. I'm not exactly sure when it was made. It is obviously old, and I would "GUESS" this was made in the 1940's - give or take. It is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
