Please email with any questions. 8" by 10" window card advertising WEBSTER The Psychic Wonder, artwork by Harlan Tarbell. Edward William Wells was a magician/mentalist who went by the stage name
Webster. He owned Edwell's Trick & Novelty Store in
Macon, Georgia. Ed Wells learned the magic biz while working for Howard
Thurston. He fashioned his persona as a mind reader in the same vein as
Alexander, The Man Who Knows" and wore a turban and Far East inspired
costumes. After his death, his widow Alice kept the shop in Macon- she
was his assistant in his act also.Window card circa 1920's has thumbtack holes and marks in each corner and less noticeable holes elsewhere around the border, surface soiling, wear and tear around the edges and corners.
