    Description

    An extremely rare irregular escutcheon Sauce label for GARLICK. The large lettering indicates a very early label. The design is very rare with enclosed horns at each top edge. There are some minor surface scratches as you would expect from normal use. Unfortunately the label is unsigned but some knowledgeable experts consider that the design is Provincial, possibly Newcastle, Chester, or York. The condition is crisp and the old figure of eight link chain is undamaged, and unmarked. There are some hard to see surface scratches due to normal use. The label is of good gauge.
