Sonicor #201 is an excellent heavy duty alkaline cleaner and rust stripper specially blended for fast, effective removal of rust, smut, grease, oil, shop dirt from iron, steel, alloy steels, and copper as well as various surfaces in an ultrasonic cleaning application.
A highly alkaline liquid formulation with a pH of 13, this low foaming detergent can be used on metals.
[It is not to be used to clean aluminum, zinc or magnesium surfaces.]
Application Procedure:
Use #201 at a nominal concentration of 1-4 ounces per gallon of water, at a bath temperature of 120
°
-160
°
F, with ultrasonic cleaning times of approximately 3-5 minutes for the aforementioned contaminants.
