Salem Brass Ships Clock/Barometer Wall Mount Combo German/Switzerland

BEAUTIFUL PIECE- handsomely crafted and mounted.  2 precious brass ship time pieces. The top in a Zell Bros. Salem clock made in Switzerland. Marked Microtron 13 Jewels.  The bottom piece is the Salem Barometer- made in Germany.  Brass pieces measure aprox 7.5x3". The wood piece measures aprox. 23x14.5
The clocks runs by battery. Not sure if this part is original or custom made this way.  The lid opens up. (see photo) it works. See the different photo shots showing time change.  Not to familiar with barometer movements. It has moved, but not much.
The total piece is very heavy. Aprox 20 pounds unpackaged. If you are wanting unmounted- I can sell that way also( possible less shipping) .  The piece as a whole is remarkable!!  A collector item  indeed.  Brass is in good shape.  very LITTLE patina, with LOTS  of shine.  Small dent in the top clock (top half).
