I always hesitate to use the word rare but this Pacific Pottery 311 salad bowl in Royal/cobalt blue is a hard item to find and doesn’t come up very often. It is a beautiful vibrant dark blue color and displays well. It is a item worthy of restoration but still beautiful as is.
It measures 11” wide, x 5 1/2” tall
It’s condition is as follows-
This bowl rings true and the feet are intact. There are two shallow pea size mostly glaze chips along the rim, also one or two flea bite size nicks, and tiny spots of abrasion and wear that don’t go through the glaze along the rim. There are scratches and wear to the interior and wear to the sheen in and around the center of the bowl as pictured. Exterior is mostly clear with one or 2 scratches and a small glaze defect.
