    This is an original window card used to promote The Great Gilbert Master Hypnotist show.
    It states: The Great Gilbert Master Hypnotist / Maker-of-a Million Laughs / First to Demonstrate the Art of Hypnotic Suggestion via Radio / See Your Friends Hypnotized / Gilbert Holds the Record of 169 Performances in St. Paul amd Minneapolis Theatres / Popular Prices.
    A “window card” is a poster that is used to promote a show or an event. It is made of stiff cardboard and is often placed at retail store windows. It is also used at theaters and at events in glass cases outside of the venue.
    This original 14 x 19 inch, window card was purchased at auction from the David Price Egyptian Hall Museum (EHM 2017). It is not dated, although magic historians would be able to figure out rough dates, probably. Pre-owned but in good condition for its age. It is possible that this was cut down by three inches because of the odd size.
