The World Dryer NOVA 2 (Model 0930) hand dryer is the least expensive steel covered hand dryer in its class. At only 4” thick, this ultra compact and stylish design can be surface-mounted and still meet ADA compliance for 4” protrusion into a
primary walk-way or traffic corridor
. With no need to recess this unit or buy a separate recess kit, installation is much less expensive and much less difficult. Unique to the NOVA 2 are the dual blowers on independent shafts with dual air outlets. Durable and vandal-resistant, the NOVA 2 has a drawn steel cover with high-gloss white porcelain enamel finish. The universal voltage, brush-type motor operates just as efficiently when connected to110V-120V, 208V, or 220V-240V. At an impressive speed of 7500 RPM, it is capable of producing an air velocity of 5,300 linear feet per minute or 60 mile per hour (176 CFM air volume) and a temperature increase of 70°F at hand level (approx. 7in. below nozzles), all at a low sound level (74dB at operator ear with hands in use). Both the motor and the NiChrome heating element are activated automatically by an infrared sensor. Dry time is approximately 30 to 35 seconds, but the length of the run time is determined by the user. As soon as the user's hands are removed from under the unit, the drying cycle is terminated.
