Monumental S. Kirk & Son Landscape Castle Pattern Sterling Picture Frame Figural

An outstanding picture frame.
This picture frame was crafted by S. Kirk & Son of Baltimore in the special order pattern "Castle" or "Landscape". The frame features a number of highly detailed deep relief figural images. Storks, birds of paradise, horses, chickens, castles, fountains, sailboats, dogs, a woman holding a tennis racquet, and more can be found around the entire frame. It is brimming with interconnected scenes and movement.  The frame is oversized and measures 15 1/2 inches tall by 12 inches wide and sterling weight is 641 grams (or 20.6 troy ounces). It is clearly hallmarked "S. KIRK & SON 925/1000". The condition is excellent with only the smallest signs of wear/use and a few unnoticeable dings around the edge of the frame.
