The HK1800EA has a
lightweight, rustproof cover constructed of cast aluminum
and coated with high-grade white appliance paint. The quiet 100 Watt (3,250 RPM) brushless motor and the 1500W NiChrome heating element are activated by an adjustable infrared sensor (adjustable range is 4 to 6 inches). Dry time is approximately 30 to 35 seconds. But the length of the dry cycle is determined by the user. As soon as the user's hands are removed from under the unit, the drying cycle is terminated. An air velocity of 3,248 linear feet per minute (or 171 CFM air volume) is produced, but only with minimal sound (63dBA +/-3dBA). At an ambient temperature of 72°F, the HK1800EA heats the out-flowing air to approximately 158°F. Mounting instructions and warranty information are included.
