Description
End of the trail BoloDepicts a tired Native rider & horse.
Turquoise and red jasper stones.
This piece has had one previous owner and is in excellent condition
Circa 1960--1970's
36" black braided leather cord with 1" long silver tone end caps
The over all dimensions of the main silver horse & rider piece is 1.75x2.25"
The metal of this piece was made with a silver alloy mixture & has the Makers mark GM on the backside. We think this piece is likely the work of Native American artist Gerald Mitchell (Navajo) who stamped his jewelry this way but cannot say with 100% certainty.
The weight of the entire piece, with the cord & end caps, is 1.2 oz (cannot weigh just main part of the bolo without taking the end caps off the cord and removing it... and they are glued in there, & were not meant to be removed)
