As a master distributor for TOTO Dryer, we daily ship TOTO brand hand dryers to construction contractors and Division 10 supply companies all over the country. And on occasion, our customers need to exchange the TOTO originally ordered for model. Because of the long-term relationships we have with these companies, we have at times accepted these units back (even after having been opened on the job site by subcontractors). But in the case of this specific unit, this TOTO HDR111#ss was slightly dinged by the freight company delivering a pallet of this model from TOTO to us (the distributor).  In such cases, we can no longer sale the units as “new”.  It truly is an "our loss is your gain" situation. This particular HDR111#SS is "new" in performance in every way. This is not a refurbished unit; absolutely no repair was needed.
All internal components (motor, infrared sensor, circuit board, heating element, thermostat, etc.) are brand new and never used.
It's only the cover that has received one small ding on the stainless steel trim piece. Please refer to the multiple pictures contained in this listing for specific location and appearance of blemishes

Quieter & even more energy efficient than the model it was created to replace, the TOTO Clean Dry™ Concealed Hand Dryer (Mod. HDR111#SS) is a recessed, high-speed, low-noise, energy-efficient model with the upper end look of stainless steel.
Rather than blowing air over hands in the open, TOTO's Clean Dry has an opening where users insert their hands. Since it is recessed, the outer surface of the HDR111#SS is nearly flush with the wall, creating a clean look that also deters vandalism. A framed-out rough wall opening of approx. 12" wide x 21-5/8" high (with a minimum depth of 5-3/8" from finished surface of wall) is required for installation, making this unit best for new construction or remodeling. Operation is fully automatic, with an infrared sensor turning the dryer on & off. To activate, the user stands comfortably and naturally facing the unit.  With hands parallel to the ground (fingers out & palms down), hands are touchlessly inserted into the drying space. The user slowly withdrawals his hands, turns them over, and reinserts...repeating process. The droplets of water blown off a user's hands are captured in a hygienic drainage tray. The capacity of the drain tray is an impressive 0.22 gallons. With no water left to trickle down the wall, the dryer, wall, & floor stay free of moisture and water marks. As a result, mold growth is prevented.  Hands are fully dry in approx. 12 seconds, but the actual length of the run cycle is determined by the user. An integrated filter scrubs the intake air before the jet air ever reaches your hands. This filter is reusable and can be regularly maintain by simply washing it in the sink with clean water. The motor can produce an air velocity of 19,448 lfm or 221 mph , producing a sound level of only 56 dB or less, all while only consuming 390 Watts or less.
And when properly installed, this hand dryer complies with the highest Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ANSI A117.1, and CSA B651 requirements.
