As a master distributor for Koala Kare Products (a Division of Bobrick), we daily ship the Koala Baby Changing Stations to construction contractors, Division 10 supply companies, churches, business, & individuals all over the country.  And on occasion, a shipper will handle the product a little rougher than the manufacturer’s packaging was created to handle. Or a customer will request to exchange the changing station originally ordered for a different color or a vertically-folding unit instead of horizontal or that their wall space can’t accommodate the unit purchased.  Because of customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to us, we have at times accepted these units back (even after having been opened and occasionally mishandled on the job site or by the shipping company). In such cases, we can no longer sale the units as “new”.  It truly is an "our loss is your gain" situation.  This Koala KB208-01 is "new" in performance in every way.  This is not a refurbished unit; absolutely no repair was needed & it was never installed. All components (pneumatic cylinder, safety strap, steel mounting chassis, etc.) are brand new.  It's only the polyethylene plastic that has received some minor cosmetic scratches & dings.  Specific to this unit is one small scuffed area by the handle.

The first two pictures are overall shots (front & open).  Picture 3 also shows the location of the handle area from a different orientation. Picture 4 is again showing the location of the scuffed area & picture 5 is showing a closeup of that same area. Pictures 10 &11 are stock photos of this model when properly installed. The damage is completely cosmetic / aesthetic only.  We've included free UPS Ground Shipping to anywhere in the contiguous "lower 48" states.

After being unavailable for the
last two years, Koala’s Oval Changing Station is back - new and improved. The completely redesigned Model KB208 is constructed of rotationally-molded, high-density polyethylene. This attractive and durable polyethylene is formulated with an FDA approved antimicrobial additive (called MICROBAN) embedded directly into the plastic, making it easy to clean and resistant to odors and bacteria growth. The KB208-01 is light grey in color. Graphics and safety messages are molded into the polyethylene in four (4) different languages.
The station is designed to be surface mounted to the wall using the included hardware. Pre-drilled mounting holes are designed for wood studs on 16" centers. (For installation in wall that does not have wood studs 16" on center, metal studs, or concrete block, toggle fasteners may need to be purchased locally by the buyer.) The station folds down horizontally so that the adult is facing the wall while changing the infant whose is laying parallel to the wall. The hinge mechanism consists of a reinforced steel pivot rod secured in a metal tube that runs the full length of the station. With 11-gauge steel mounting chassis, the KB208-01 meets all ASTM requirements for static load performance when properly installed. Although Koala Kare does not recommend for use with infants exceeding 50 lbs., in testing the KB208-01 easily supported 200 lbs with minimal deflection of the "bed" from horizontal. A pneumatic cylinder provides for easy, slow, and controlled opening and closing of the bed. Both the pneumatic cylinder and metal hinge mechanism are fully concealed (regardless of bed position) to eliminate tampering and any possible pinch hazard.
The contoured changing surface area is 308 sq. in. (1987 sq. cm.) and comes complete with nylon safety straps and convenient bag or purse hooks built in. Folded closed the changer's dimensions are 34"W x 21"H x 4"D. When open the changer extends out from the wall 21". And when properly installed, this changer complies with the highest Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations.
