Discounted New KOALA KARE (Baby Bear) KB101-01 Grey (Gray), Vertical Baby Changing Station
As a master distributor for Koala Kare Products (a Division of Bobrick), we daily ship the Koala Baby Changing Stations to construction contractors, Division 10 supply companies, churches, business, & individuals all over the country.  And we normally sell only new products - from the manufacturer to us to the customer. But accidents happen, and in the case of this KB101-01, a small drop (while still in box) caused the plastic on the bottom right corner to slightly crease. We can no longer sale this unit (and another just like it) as “new”.  It truly is an "our loss is your gain" situation. This Koala KB101-01 is "new" in every way. All components (pneumatic cylinder, safety strap, steel mounting chassis, etc.) are brand new.  It's only the polyethylene plastic that has received a small ding in one corner.  Please refer to the pictures contained in this listing for specific location and appearance of blemishes. The first three pictures are overall shots (front, back & open).  Picture 3 shows the location of the dent with the changing station in its installed orientation. Picture 4 is a different orientation again showing the location of the ding.  Picture 5 is showing a closeup of the dent from the back (simply for orientation purposes). And picture 6 is of the opposite / un-dented corner for comparison purposes. Please note that picture 3 demonstrates that the ding in no way affects the opening & closing of the unit.  The damage is completely cosmetic / aesthetic only. Picture 12 is stock image showing a unit mounted/installed.  We've included free UPS Ground Shipping to anywhere in the contiguous "lower 48" states.  If not fully satisfied once you've received the unit, we'll provide a return UPS label and a complete refund.  Currently, we have several discounted vertical models (KB101s) available with their own unique minor blemishes.. This durable and attractive baby changing station (Model KB101-01) is made of FDA approved, rotationally-molded, polyethylene (gray in color) with MICROBAN antimicrobial additive. It is easy to clean and resistant to odors and bacteria growth. Graphics and safety messages are molded into the polyethylene in six (6) different languages & Braille. In addition, a built-in dispensers for sanitary liners is conveniently located just above the changing surface when folded open (liners not included).
The station is designed to be surface mounted to the wall using the included hardware. Four (4) pre-drilled mounting holes are designed for wood studs on 16" centers. (For installation on wall that does not have wood studs 16" on center, install one side into a stud and use the included toggle fasteners for the other side.) The station folds down vertically so that the infant is laying perpendicular to the wall (head near the wall and feet out from the wall). With a reinforced metal-on-metal hinge running the full length of the station and with 11-gauge steel mounting chassis, the KB101-01 meets all ASTM requirements for static load performance when properly installed. A pneumatic cylinder provides for easy, slow, and controlled opening and closing of the bed. Both the pneumatic cylinder and metal hinge mechanism are fully concealed (regardless of bed position) to eliminate tampering and possible pinch hazard. Although designed for infants that weigh no more than 50 lbs, in testing the KB101-01 easily supported 200 lbs with minimal deflection of the "bed" from horizontal.
The contoured changing surface area is 402 sq. in. and comes complete with nylon safety straps and convenient bag or purse hooks built in. Folded closed the changer's dimensions are 22"W x 35-1/2"H x 5-1/4"D. When open the changer extends out from the wall 35". And when properly installed, this changer complies with the highest Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations.
