NEW AHD100-00 (Private Label) Cream-Colored, Horizontal-Folding, Wall Mounted Baby Changing Station
As a master distributor for Koala Kare Products (a Division of Bobrick), we daily ship the Koala Baby Changing Stations to construction contractors, Division 10 supply companies, churches, business, & individuals all over the country.  And on occasion, a shipper will handle the product a little rougher than the manufacturer’s packaging was created to handle. Or a customer will request to exchange the changing station originally ordered for a different color or a vertically-folding unit instead of horizontal or that their wall space can’t accommodate the unit purchased.  Because of customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to us, we have at times accepted these units back (even after having been opened and occasionally mishandled on the job site or by the shipping company). In such cases, we can no longer sale the units as “new”.  It truly is an "our loss is your gain" situation.  This AHD100-00 is "new" in performance in every way.  Specific to this unit is one small superficial scuff on the front of the changing station. This is not a refurbished unit; absolutely no repair was needed.  All components (pneumatic cylinder, safety strap, steel mounting chassis, etc.) are brand new.  It's only the polyethylene plastic that has received this one minor ding.  Please refer to the pictures contained in this listing for specific location and appearance of blemishes. The first five pictures are over all shots (Front, back, open, top, & bottom).  Picture 6 shows the location of a small scuff mark just to the left of the front decal when folded closed. It's a smooth scuff with no rough or sharp edges. It's not very deep and difficult to capture in a photo. And that's the only exception to "pristine" that this unit has.  (Pictures 10 & 11 are stock images of this model.) We've taken .00 from the original price and included free FedEx Ground Shipping to anywhere in the contiguous "lower 48" states.  If not fully satisfied once you've received the unit, we'll provide a return FedEx label and a complete refund. If you need more than one horizontal model (AHD100), please let us know. We may have more (in cream, gray & white granite) with their own unique minor blemishes.
This durable and attractive baby changing station (Model AHD100-00) is made of FDA approved, blow-molded, high-density polyethylene (cream or very light beige in color) with Microban Antimicrobial additive embedded into the plastic. It is easy to clean and resistant to odors and bacteria growth. The safety message  and graphics are molded into the polyethylene in six (6) different languages and Braille. In addition, a built-in dispenser for sanitary liners are conveniently located just above the changing surface when folded open (liners not included). Total capacity of the dispenser is approximately 25 liners.
The station is designed to be surface mounted to the wall using the included hardware. Pre-drilled mounting holes are designed for wood studs on 32" centers. (For installation in wall that does not have wood studs 32" on center, metal studs, or concrete block, toggle fasteners may need to be purchased locally by the buyer.) The station folds down horizontally so the the adult is facing the wall while changing the infant whose is laying parallel to the wall. With a reinforced steel-on-steel hinge running the full length of the station, the AHD100-00 meets all ASTM requirements for static load performance when properly installed. A pneumatic cylinder provides for slow, controlled opening and closing of the bed. Both the pneumatic cylinder and metal hinge mechanism are fully concealed (regardless of bed position) to eliminate tampering and possible pinch hazard. Although designed for infants that weigh no more than 50 lbs, in testing the AHD100-00 easily supported more with minimal deflection of the "bed" from horizontal.
The contoured changing surface area is 442 sq. in. and comes complete with nylon safety straps and convenient bag or purse hooks built in. Folded closed the changer's dimensions are 35.25"W x 20"H x 4"D. When open the changer extends out from the wall 19.25". When properly installed, this changer complies with the highest Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. Mounting instructions and hardware (wood screws & washers) included.
