    BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA FOLK ART LEATHER WITH SIMULATED HIDE WITH RED,WHITE,BLUE BEAD DECORATED  NECKERCHIEF SLIDE

    This is a neckerchief slide was hand made probably at Scout Camp.  It is made from folding and sewing a piece of leather and attaching a simulated animal hide glued to it and red, white and blue beads adorned around each edge and hanging from the bottom. This one measures about 1 1/2" or 37 mm high and the diameter is about 1 1/4" or 31 mm across. The neckerchief is held by placing it through the opening of the slide.
