    Description

Boston Shipstrike Chelsea Ship's Clock and Barometer on Stand
The clock is in excellent working condition and the bell chimes perfectly.  If you are not familiar with a shipstrike clock, the chimes are different from a regular mantle clock.
    The clock sequence is:
    8 bells:
    12:00, 4:00,  8:00
    1 bell:
    12:30, 4:30, 8:30
    2 bells:
    1:00, 5:00, 9:00
    3 bells:
    1:30, 5:30, 9:30
    4 bells:
    2:00, 6:00, 10:00
    5 bells:
    2:30, 6:30, 10:30
    6 bells:
    3:00, 7:00, 11:00
    7 bells:
    3:30, 7:30, 11:30
The clock and the barometer each measure 5 ½" in diameter at the outside rim. The clock is 3 ⅝" thick and the barometer is just under 3 ½" thick.  Both the clock and the barometer are in very nice condition with no dents, dings, or repairs.
Both the clock and the barometer have engraved aluminum dials.  The clock has two small levers on the face, one for turning the chimes off or on, and one to set the clock faster or slower.  We have had this clock running for several weeks and it is keeping perfect time.  We wind it every 7-8 days.
We do not have the original key to wind the clock, but we have a replacement key with it.  It is shown in a photo and we use the #4 key size.
The wooden stand is in excellent condition and measures 16" long.
The back of the clock has a number, 10 77 4 and the back of the barometer has a number, 12 77 4.  We do not see any other numbers and we will not take the clock apart to find any numbers.  Clock weighs 5 pounds 3 ounces, barometer weighs 4 pounds 8 ounces.
