    Description

    Waltham 8 Day clock in a naval style brass case for use with gimble mount in wooden box. Except back is marked "U.S.ARMY". Unsure if this was for use in pre WWII tanks as mounted compasses in WWI tanks were gimble mounted. A mystery to me.  Serial number 24126015 which I think denotes 1925 - 26 mfg. Watch has wrong winding stem but will wind and run. No gimble mount- no wood case. Shipping 10.00
