    Description

Darling antique tea ball infuser, sterling silver with dunking chain.  Made by R. Blackinton from Massachusetts.  In business from 1862 to 1967 but I would place this piece around 1930-1940.
Measures 1.5" diameter, wieght is 18 grams.  Chain and ring in very good condition, no issues.  The chain is attached to either side of the ball, rather than to the top, which seems a good design plan.  The cap clips closed and is easily opened with a fingernail.  The round body of the ball does have some tiny dings and dents from age and use.
A lovely little antique sterling piece you can use everyday!
