    Description

    Here is this amazing mid 20th century antique or vintage enormous solid 925 sterling silver turquoise bolo tie necklace that should be in a museum . As a avid hunter of rare antique jewelry this is the finest largest bolo tie necklace I have ever seen , it weighs 254 grams with the sterling silver slide pendant measuring 4 7/8 inches top to bottom and 3 3/4 inches across , the turquoise nugget measures 4 inches top to bottom and almost 3 inches across . This is a giant natural Royston turquoise nugget with beautiful light aqua and dark green colors and a attractive light brown matrix with what look like tiny cracks in the photos but are just part of the matrix . The leather cord is about 40 inches long with sterling silver tips that are 3 1/2 inches each with the original matching leaf design to the center piece however one of the tips appears to have a Kingman mine turquoise nugget in it .  The leather cord is old and slightly worn but sturdy and the pendant is signed LB on the back . Please study the photos this is one of the most amazing sterling silver turquoise bolo ties we will ever see and it is in excellent vintage condition and should be on display in a museum somewhere .   ...
