    Description

    Heavy Nickle plate Cast Iron Wood or Coal Furnace Plaque - 19th Century. Penisular Furnace Co. Nickle plating shows some- bit little Honest Wear. This is a double Draft Check. Full, half and closed. 5 nickle plate knobs. The Knobs - A mystery to me. Unknown if original or added - if added it was a hundred years ago.
    Shape of the shield. the floral design. The undisturbed patina patina. Quality of this old world casting. All make this peice very pleasing to the eye. Could be used as a key and dog leash hanger by a exterior door. Un polished - as found perfect condition.
