Alfred Meakin Vintage Children's Porcelain Cup & Bowl - Simple Simon

Description

Alfred Meakin Vintage set of a children's porcelain cup and bowl.  The bowl  states 'Simple Simon" and measures approximately 6 3/4"  diameter.  Gold trim.  A little crazing around where the phrase  'Simple Simon" is shown that does not interfere with the very nice coloring. The plate has "Alfred Meakin England" and emblem in green stamped on the bottom and has no chips or cracks. The cup is also colorful and states on the front " Ride a Cock Horse".  It is 2 3/4"in diameter and 3" high.  The cup has a crack on the back and very minor chip. See last photo. Gold trim. Both show a tiny wear but display very well. From a smoke-free and pet-free home. Very cute an colorful vintage children's set. Thanks for looking.
