Item Description:
Pair of restored headlight motors dated correct for a 1963 corvette produced starting in January 1963.  One is dated December 1962 and the other January 1963.  The stamped "12 - 62" is faint but certainly legible in hand.  If you are not interested in dates, these are also functionally correct for any 1963 -1967 C2 Corvette.  Motors include mounting brackets attached as shown in photos. Included in the restoration is operational bench testing. They were restored by Bill Naeger who has been specializing in restoring C2 headlight motors for 30+ years.  These are ready to install and will be trouble free. Corvette parts catalogs ask 5 each for new, undated, "imported" (probably Chinese?) reproductions. And that does not include the mounting bracket which is another each for a total of 0 a pair.  Maybe you can get a little discount but our price for the real deal is certainly fair.
NOTE:
Notice the
black
plastic electrical socket where the wiring harness plugs in.  Those are unique to the 1963 production year.  For sure reproductions don't have those.

We will securely box the item ourselves with no charge for the packaging materials or our time (no handling charges). We prefer to use the USPO or UPS but if you require other methods, we can most likely accommodate you. If our listing shows "free shipping" or a "fixed shipping charge", that is for shipping to the continental USA states. If that does not apply to you, then please contact us for the shipping charge. In all cases, you will never be charged more than the actual carrier shipping/insurance cost. And we will ship as timely as reasonable, knowing that we are not a business and we are not always home. In some cases a signature may be required at destination point. Item can be picked up in Springfield, NE which is near Omaha. We will pay the additional shipping insurance based on the sale price.
