Description
1910-20's Roma Porcelain Separated Baby Dish - 'House that Jack Built Theme" HJB. The piece is heavily crazed, but it does not appear that the structure of the porcelain has been otherwise compromised or stained in the least. There is a small irregularity on the rim (see picture) that looks like a chip, but is actually one of three kiln rests. Size is 7 1/2 D x 3/4" H. The theme ("This is the House That Jack Built") has been traced to the 15th century. This is a neat show piece and not bad shape considering it is approximately 110 years old!!
